Gilma De La Cruz
Chef, CEO

Chef Gilma is from the Dominican Republic. Has lived in Grand Rapids since 2009. Chef Gilma graduated from GRCC’s culinary program in 2017. Her goal has been to expose Grand Rapids to the cooking and culture she grew up with in the Dominican Republic, which she described as homestyle, warm and tasteful. Chef Gilma owns El Caribe food truck with her husband Edward DeLaCruz which has been open for 4yrs. Chef Gilma believes the world is full of opportunities and is up to you to go out and get them.
